Ok, I really tried something different with the colours so hopefully it's not too crappy
the BG isn't anything special
it took me like 20 million hours to finish
at least I got something done

also I will call you when I get a chance ;p

I love the technique you used, and of course the original linework looks really great, but I keep thinking that your deviations would look much better if you used duller colors, greys, earth tones, something that doesn't look so bright and shiny. Just my two cents of course, I don't pretend to be a great colorist.

I really like the coloring job you did on this pseudo-modern Zelda. I think the skin could use some brighter highlights, but that's about all I'd change. Looks great.
